RBG Cranbourne Plant Sale

Excerpt from the RBG Cranbourne Friends newsletter

Dear Cranbourne Friends Members,

A reminder that the Growing Friends Autumn plant sale will be held on Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 March from 10am – 4pm.

Due to renovations at our usual location, the site of the Autumn plant sale will be on the top Iawn of the Ian Potter Precinct – near the lake.

There are over 350 different species of grasses, climbers, border plants, ground covers, small and large shrubs and trees for sale including 14 different species of Banksia and a number of rare plants such as the critically endangered Leafy Nematolepis (Nematolepis frondosa) found only in a small localised area in East Gippsland and the endangered Olearia minor, a lovely daisy-bush from the west of Victoria.

If you would like to receive a copy of the newsletter, please let me know and I will forward a copy to you.

Australian Plants Society Mornington Peninsula plant sale, The Briars

Saturday, 29 April 2023 | 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM

The Australian Plants Society Mornington Peninsula is holding its annual plant sale at The Briars, Nepean Highway, Mount Martha on 29 April from 10am to 3.30pm.

It is a wonderful opportunity to buy Australian Native plants suitable for our region from a wide range of local growers, and to get information and advice on native plant propagation and successful growth.

It is also a chance to join the local branch of the Australian Plants Society and gain access to talks on native plants and the environment, and relevant outings.

All welcome, from new gardeners to plant enthusiasts.
