Meeting: Jill Holmes-Smith on Peonies
Jill Holmes-Smith has agreed to step in at short notice and provide a presentation about the world of Peonies. Jill will also have on hand some of her plants and cards for sale. Jane Varkulevicius is unfortunately unable to make her planned presentation about pruning techniques, we look forward to hearing her speak at some time in the future. NB: The meeting will not proceed if it’s a Total Fire Ban day.

Event: Red Hill Show
Elise is the Show Steward of the Flower Pavilion of the Red Hill Agricultural Show and RHGS is happy to donate a $50 cash prize for a special entry. The flower display schedule will be advertised when it’s confirmed. Our members are encouraged to enter exhibits Including floral art. Visit to the Cranbourne Gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria
During morning tea at the Gardens we will hear from the Director, Chris Russell. Following his update we will explore Australian flora and fauna in this stunning environment. You will be able to either walk around the Australia garden site or take a trip on the Garden Explorer tour bus. Further details will be available closer to the date.

Native Plant Sale – Australian Plants Society Mornington Peninsula Branch
We're a group of plant lovers who are interested in increasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for growing native plants on the Mornington Peninsula; we meet monthly with either guest speakers or an excursion to enjoy. We hold an annual native plant sale where local growers of both native and indigenous plants are on hand to answer questions and advise purchasers of plants suitable for their area.
